When my phone rings I jump hoping it's you,
When I hear your name my knees start to tremble;
When I look up to the sky I ask God for one thing
and that's to have you back in my arms,
When I see you smile I frown because I know that
I'm not the reason it's there anymore;
You look so happy--so why do I cry?
Because I finally realized that I was in love
and that I cared and that even though I'm not with you,
I know that I made you who you are;
